Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup Smith & Son’s Firehouse Hot Five Alarm BBQ Sauce

Directions

Brown the beef and onion. Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven and smoke at 225°F for 3–4 hours, stirring every 45 minutes until thick and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 tablespoons favorite burger seasoning
  • ½ cup Smith & Son’s Firehouse Hot Five Alarm BBQ Sauce
  • 4 brioche buns
  • Pepper Jack cheese (optional)

Directions

Form four equal patties and season generously. Smoke at 225°F until they reach about 145°F. Brush with Five Alarm BBQ Sauce during the final 15–20 minutes and continue cooking to 160°F. Add cheese if desired, rest 5 minutes, and serve.
